Queer anarchist Housing projects - NO SINGLE ROOMS

Zimmer/Wohnung: This means we have no single rooms, but all sleep in one big sleeping room. Therefore we have a lot of shared common rooms, that have different functions: A big loving room, a dining room, an art room, a mattress room, a basement, a private room, a kitchen, two bathroom, a garden and a terrace. Please write as first word in your application: Gnome We are a functional housing project in Reinickendorf. Lage: The house is in Reinickendorf, 10minites from the S-Bahn station. We a 3minute walk from a lot of nature. :) WG-Leben: We, the circus, are a queer, anarchist (currently all Flinta) housing project, located in Reinickendorf (S Waidmannslust). We currently moved from our old place and are still in the process of turning this new house into a functional living space where we want to create a place for joyful community and resistance. We live functional, which means we share all the rooms, which are right now a shared sleeping room, living room, art room, office space, a private room for undisturbed activity and the basement which is yet to be defined but has a lot of potential for community activities. We also have a big garden with magical trees, where we plan to grow vegetables in future and make friends with the foxes that come to visit at dawn. We are looking for people with strong anarchist and anti-colonialist stances, focus on queers + allies, no liberals, no zionists, no terfs. We strive to be inclusive of people with all kinds of disabilities as well but we also need to mention that sadly our place right now is not wheelchair accessible :/ (The house entrance has 3 steps, the living room has 1 step, the sleeping room is upstairs, with a staircase that has a handrail. The next S Bahn is 15 minutes walking distance away, next bus stop 5 minutes.) Our project exists for 2 years now and started with a strong international focus and our main communication language is English. Our compilation of people right now is dominantly white and German but we hope for that to change again in future and would be happy for people from all kinds of backgrounds to join and create the space with us. So far we share expenses when it comes to food and house related purchases that are usually discussed in our weekly plenary. As we consider veganism as a significant part of collective liberation we want to keep the house freegan and 100% meatfree and we currently focus on dumpsterdiving and foodsharing to sustain our lives while also trying to boycott capitalism as much as we can. We are right now again in a process of figuring out who we wanna be as a community and how to create our time together. Activities we've been enjoying together in the past for example were cute breakfasts, drag, weird obsession presentation nights, treasure hunts, working on neighborhood solidarity and connections, crafting weird shit, workshops and reading circles on political education and anti-racism, parties, movie nights, collective unlearning and emotional carework. We are currently looking for 1-2 new people with strong ambition for community building and who are willing to bring in their own vision and ideas for the space.
